A refreshing song of affirmation; because life changes, and even when you change with it, you're still you! (I think!) Smiles, Colette.

I've made this the title track for the album, released on World Music Day, June 21, 2016, because this song takes us on a car ride together (that's the blinker in the beginning), and then a walk in the sunny woods where we chat about life: it's tricky bits and how we've grown, and that's quite a lot to ask one song to do; so I made it the title track. Honestly, it's me in a nutshell too.

Lyrics

I Think I Am

Walks with dad in the sunshine.
Watching for robins, with mom, in the spring.
They helped me learn for the first time
Those are some fine memories.
I’m kinda mystified, time keeps moving,
never quite sure why.

Now life’s not black and white,
it’s colorful and crazy,
a little hazy sometimes;
for the most part on the straight and narrow,
I am.
I think I am,
I think I am.
I am.
I think I am,
I think I am.

How the wind blows every day
re arranges things so often.
A little wiser for mistakes, I am.
I think I am,
I think I am
I am.
I think I am,
I think I am.

Many things undefined
but so in love with life
I think I am
I think I am

Walk a while in the sunshine.
Welcome robins every spring.
Smile at someone for the first time.
Introduce a mind to a new thing.

Hear the wind harmonize.
See the hope in my eye, hey!.
With all I’ve loved there is just one question;
with all we share it’s a good connection;
and if you’re there, here’s my declaration
I think I am, I think I am.
I think I am, I think I am.
I think I am.
