This spooky feeling acoustic original was inspired after I read the screenplay "Beasts Of The Southern Wild."
The thought, prompted by the tiny heroine Hushpuppy, haunted me. Her perspective turned my world around on its head. How would you look to whatever scares you?
What would it see? Would it see a screaming pile of fear? Because Hushpuppy, the main character of the story was a child, alone in the world, who decided to go find the thing that scared her the most. I decided her courage deserved to inspire us all, in song.
