From the recording I Think I Am
Originally written and performed as a duet with my youngest son. He would sing a line, then I would, until the chorus, which I sang alone. Now I sing the whole song alone because he's off singing other things in the world now. Being a parent, it's all about raising a thinking independent individual, or it should be. I'm very proud to have accomplished at least some of that, with style. This heartfelt song describes my philosophy about how to let go and still remain connected. It's nice when life works out that way!
